ARTWORKS

My paintings are a reflection of my inner world—nature, patterns, the botanical kingdom, the animal world, and the human psyche. They begin with writing and sketching before evolving into mixed media pieces, where I incorporate natural found objects like leaves, earth, and branches. These elements collide with large, colorful sketches, sealed in resin to capture a moment in time. The resin preserves both the past and present, raising awareness around sustainability, durability, and extinction. In my ongoing mixed media exploration, I delve into Nature’s Kingdoms—botanics, animals, architecture, patterns, and the medicinal properties of these subjects. Using techniques that blend markers, stencils, sprays, varnishes, and acrylic mediums, I cut, paste, roller, compose, and spray to create unique compositions. This approach was honed during the creation of my “Mycelium Network Series,” an ongoing exploration of the fascinating Fungi World, where I continuously push the boundaries of my technique and expression.

SCULPTURES / INSTALLATIONS/CLAY

The uniting of Nature’s Kingdoms; plants, crystals, animals, humans and more. Loosh explores resin made objects, clay sculptures and the form of other seeds/pods and such found on nature walks. All installations are site specific, capturing moments in time and the feeling within, using the idea of grids, totems, centre and space.

Clay has long been a material that deeply influences my artistic practice. About three years ago, I began crafting sculptures inspired by objects and scenes from my paintings. I prioritize experimenting with hybrid forms, particularly combining botanical elements with a free and creative approach. The glazing process adds a distinct layer to my work; exploring textures, minerals and tones—from natural earthy hues to rich turquoises and greens—imbues my art with aesthetic depth.
