Lila Plays a set of public/live/ticketed performance. Along with Resonance Crew; Ley Loosh/Lila Plays and Aurelie Freoua get together with dancer Petra Haller, collaborating along with various musicians and other artists, exploring a score of improvised performances. Together they have created Salon Resonances; a monthly event held at Vortex Jazz Club London and continuing online since March lockdown.
A series of live performances and art installations via analogue approaches combined with light. Lila explores site specific ideas with paint, self made tools and movement on rather transparent canvasses where the viewer is also a part of the frame, once looking through the glass.
Lila also plays with live analogue visual sets; including collectables from nature and mini habitats, settings or created scapes. She animates via playing along with them, help of elements, such as water, wind and light being used; the merging them to the surroundings and the sound. She portrays these via the light of her projector. These are often unique peaceful experiences which can as well be inter-active with the viewers.
